Interview & Hiring Process
Here we describe our interview process and give you some tips to prepare yourself.

Interview Process

1. First interview
Our goal in the first interview is to share information about the role and Explipro and learn more about you (both personal and professional).

2. Competence matrix
Here you'll fill in a spreadsheet with the tech stack (which technologies, versions, and frameworks) you have worked with.

3. Online assessment / Tech interview
Depending on which role you are applying for, we may have different coding tests or technical interviews for you to perform.

4. Second interview
At this stage, you will meet one of our Managers. The goal will be to go deeper into your experience and personality.

5. Reference check
Here we ask you for your references. People you have worked and reported to. We also share two of our employees as references from our side if needed.

6. Offer
If you pass all other stages, we should have an agreement on salary and start date! Welcome to Explipro!

How to ace the interviews?
Be yourself - The best way to create a good impression is by being your authentic self.
Be prepared - Spend some time learning a bit more about us. Also, don't forget to learn the requirements for the position and prepare a few questions for when it's your turn to ask.
Be direct yet sincere - We appreciate hearing about your accomplishments in detail, but we suggest you keep it simple.
Why changing now - We'll ask about your reasons for applying for the position and for moving to Sweden.
Online interviews
Our focus is on international recruitment, therefore, all our interviews are online. Make sure to have everything working.
- Test your internet and pick a good spot for lighting and background.
- Silence distractions. Online interviews usually occur from your home, it's important to create a quiet environment with minimum distractions.
- There is no dress code but dress professionally.
- Body language is a crucial part of first impressions.
Relocation process
We know it is a big change, especially if you are coming from abroad. It is our responsibility to make the relocation and onboarding process as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
